talk to the legitimate owners, the Gerishon Kirima family
Kenya’s President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, has weighed in on the Kirima Land dispute in a press statement dated October 26, 2023. He’s urging Njiru residents to settle the land issue amicably.
The President directed residents to talk to the legitimate owners, the Gerishon Kirima family, to find a solution. He emphasized the importance of negotiation for those who wish to continue living on the Njiru land. President Ruto stated, “Those who are willing to negotiate should do so and reach an agreement. That’s the best way to handle it. However, those using fake documents and trying to claim what isn’t theirs through unlawful means are not acceptable.”
